King Family / Sachuest Point / Newport RI

We moved to Rhode Island almost a year ago. It always takes me a while to get settled in a new place. Making friends is one of the parts of getting settled that is always takes a while and I hold my breath a little hoping that it will happen.

I first met this awesome family at church (of course they didn’t have this sweet little baby yet). We took our kids to their class and Rylan was leading all the little kids in singing tim. He paused at the end of the song as we sent our kids and gave us the biggest smile, welcomed us and told us he was so glad we were there. He had our kids singing along in no time (they kept singing the song he taught them all week long too!). He was the first person to talk the time to welcome us and help us feel at home. I got to work with both Dianna and Rylan with church stuff. Dianna teachers my daughters Sunday school class. They are such a wonderful family and my life has definitely been enriched as I’ve gotten to know them.

Their beautiful daughter has grown so much! I haven’t seen them for a long time because we’ve been quarantining and I can’t believe how much she’s grown. She was so happy and smiling and engaged the whole session. It was so hard to narrow down the choices when her big grin was shinning in every one of them.
